Kurt Walker is Director of Special Events for RLA. He is responsible for seminars, summits & workshops. In addition to driving successful seminars and summits for our members and the industry, Kurt directs the RLA Industry Committees, and manages our speaker’s bureau.
Kurt comes to RLA with nearly 20 years experience in sales, business development, project management and process engineering. Working in manufacturing provided Kurt with an involved understanding of forward and reverse logistics issues from multiple perspectives in the supply chain. He developed customer service processes that included field service and replacement management that allowed for quick error resolution through the supply chain to the satisfaction of both consumers and retail companies. He has also piloted several programs to help printing companies manage their environmental resources & recycling. .
Kurt is passionate about bringing people together for networking & overall improvement. He studied advertising & marketing at Brigham Young University, and pursued minors in business management and French.
When not working tirelessly for our members, Kurt loves to spend time with his family in whatever activity his beautiful wife and three children choose. He is a voracious reader who loves running, playing golf, rock climbing, fly-fishing, and skiing in the perfect snow of Utah.
